    I want to personally welcome you to the new school year. Our experienced staff is dedicated to providing students with the best educational opportunities possible. We strive to develop an attitude of self-respect and self-worth in each student

    In addition to academics, Smyrna Middle School supports our Smyrna School District Community Core values which are- Respect, Responsibility, Perseverance, Integrity, and Compassion.

    I am hopeful that students will enjoy the extra-curricular clubs and sports opportunities that are available at SMS.

    Parents are an integral part of the learning process and provide the necessary link between home and school. We encourage your participation in this role.

    Our handbook has been written to make you aware of the school's guidelines and rules so that everyone has advance notice of our expectations. Please review it with your child and feel free to contact the school if you have any questions. Our goal is to work as a team to encourage and develop pride in belonging to the Smyrna Middle School. Each child will be provided with a safe, friendly, and positive learning environment so they can grow physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually.
