Our Vision

All students from Smyrna High School are college- and career-ready and are prepared to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world.  They have developed a strategic plan to accomplish their academic, personal, and career goals, and they make meaningful contributions to society.  As lifelong learners and productive citizens, they continue to live by the Smyrna School District Core Values of Respect, Responsibility, Compassion, Integrity, and Perseverance.

Our Mission

The mission of the Smyrna High School Counseling Department is to encourage all students to reach their highest academic and personal potential through a comprehensive counseling program, which includes academic, social/emotional and college/career counseling.  School counselors collaborate with other educators, families, and community members to advocate for students and to ensure equity, access, and success for all students as they pursue their goals.
