Driver's Education
-
Parents and students, we are happy to announce that we have some news and updates.
9/3/20
As we begin this new school year things will look very differently for everyone, including Driver Education.
NEW CLASSES are scheduled to begin at the start of the 2nd marking period. This is due to the fact that we have a large number of students from the spring semester that still need to finish their driving time. We will begin posting information to our Google Classrooms as we get closer to the start of Marking Period 2.
All four driving instructors will be making contact with students to try and schedule their drive times. The instructors are working through the lists of students based on birthday order. The first method of contact will be via the students school email accounts. If we do not receive a reply within a day then we will try and contact via a phone call. Please check your school email accounts once a day.
If a student is scheduled to drive they will need to provide their own transportation to be dropped off and picked up at Smyrna High School in the Smyrna side parking lot near the Driver Ed vehicles.
As instructors at Smyrna High School we understand the tough situation that the students and parents have been put in. We will do our best to get to as many of the students as we can as soon as possible.
The best form of communication with the instructors is via email.
