Welcome to the English Department web page. Our Highly-Qualified teachers are committed to creating engaging lessons that are aligned with the Common Core State Standards. We pride ourselves in preparing our students for their futures by teaching them the reading, writing, and analytical skills that they need to be successful in their post-secondary careers. It is our ultimate goal to make sure our SHS graduates are equipped with the skills necessary to be successful in their chosen college or career path.
